Modeling a head

Since the cyborg project came my way I've been meaning to make a model of a head after I greedily used Phil's model, after sculpting the head I will create hair as a separate object, so here's the making process.


I begun by making a sphere and adjusted it to the reference image



The next step at adjusting the head shape was to delete some faces and move the vertices and I begun to make the nose by extruding and adjusting  the shape of the new faces to the reference image.



Seeing how i never liked any attempt at making a head before I am quite proud of how well this model is going along.

Building a pc

A pc within a game is something that will normally fade into the background as part of the detail, it still however needs a certain amount of detail, the pc I will make will be made from primitive shapes and i will use images of existing products to texture the pc parts.



For the motherboard I used the gigabyte sniper, the disk tray area is made from an image of one, the graphics card is made from images of the stock nvidia gtx 980, the ram is made from Kingston hyper x and the power supply is made from images of various corsair power supplies.





Here is where I stopped for a while since it was difficult to find images or colour that can cover the sides and top of the pc and blend with the back image.

quick dog


I had previously studied the forms of dogs during my A level art classes and decided that the next thing I was going to model is a dog.
I made the model by looking at image references of the side and front images of dogs, and am quite happy with the basic/primitive model.
