lava monster homework

seeing to vast amounts of ideas I was..

Stuck for ideas, so i started drawing a giant that would represent a volcano though its size, I just knew that it had to have a glowing spine.

The above screenshot is my favourite, the way that the lava curves on the arm makes it look like skin contracting during movement.

I must say i did have fun with this task and I am glad to know that I can sort of understand the combination of colour and tones that make the lava brighter.
