For the anthropomorphic frog task I wanted to to a colourful frog that would look dangerous and vicious, my main source of inspiration was the frog on the left of the mood board, the end result lent towards the middle image with the one above it, I wanted to recreate that curious look of the top middle image.
The idea for the samurai came from the kimono, samurai Armour may be more appropriate for a warrior however the simple kimono makes the character appear more laid back, in many medias the outfit was changed for style and function in this case I want the frog to look both powerful and relaxed and in order to do that I drew him with one sleeve/side down.
The ending result is pleasing as I may have found a style that could work for me if I developed it a bit.
