Temple model


 The task was to create a model of this temple.


Once the main roof parts were made i had to texture them properly so that i could copy and resize them to the rest of th bulitung.

I used the provided roof texture for the main part, the golden curtain like shape had to be made separately, i used Photoshop to produce a single one then saved it as a PNG as PNG's accept the transparent area leaving no white below the gold. I then applied this to the sides of the roof.

I then edited the texture slightly adding an outline on the gold.

I came closer to understanding the texture editor after my textures warped I used vertex selector in the UV Editor to fix them.

Making and editing the pillars.
The pillar is composed of two parts to make the indentations easier to form. 



I made some pillars and it seems like it's really coming together now.


After adding some details like the planks on the temple, placed enough pillars extruded the space and added windows+doors I ended up with this, now i just have to fix the textures.


The colours may really be off from the original however I believe that this is a very accurate reconstruction.
